03/12/2014 I Deportes I LEANDRO REQUENA, CON SPORTIVO PATRIA, A UN PASO DE LA B NACIONAL

Sportivo Patria, el conjunto formoseño, que sueña con llegar a la Primera B Nacional, tiene en el arco a un malagueñense: Leandro Requena. El jóven arquero oriundo de nuestra ciudad, llegó al conjunto del norte del país, luego de un paso por Atenas de Uruguay y un corto regreso a Talleres de Córdoba; y ahora se encuentra a dos partidos de lograr algo histórico para Formosa.

Este miércoles a partir de las 20:30 horas en Paraná, Sportivo Patria, con Leandro en el arco, buscará el primer paso camino a la B Nacional cuando deba visitar a Atlético de Paraná por la Ida de la Final de Federal A.

El conjunto Decano está ante una posibilidad única de poder llevar al fútbol de Formosa a la B Nacional y para ello deberá vencer en un partido de 180 minutos a Atlético Paraná, mismo equipo que en el año 1976 le tocó enfrentar también en una Final, la del regional, para ascender al Nacional, logró que obtendría tras serie de penales.

En la serie previa a la final, Sportivo Patria enfrentó a San Lorenzo de Alem de Catamaraca ganando en Formosa 2 a 0 y perdiendo en tierras catamarqueñas 3 a 2 pasando por el Global de 4 a 3.
