27/03/2018 I Deportes I DANU MONTAGNINO LE DIÓ EL TRIUNFO A RIVER EN LA ADIDAS CUP DE DALLAS

La Sexta División de River (Sub 17) no afloja en su paso por la Adidas Generation Cup, que se juega en Dallas, Estados Unidos, con la presencia en su plantel del arquero, oriundo de Villa San Nicolás de Malagueño; Daniel Montagnino.

El representativo riverplatense viene de quedarse con el título en las últimas tres ediciones, y ya están entre los cuatro mejores del certamen. En el cierre del grupo A, los pibes dirigidos por Guillermo Rivarola vencieron 6-5 por penales al Toronto FC canadiense, con una destacada participación del arquero malagueñense, atajó uno de los penales y convirtió el definitivo.

Con el triunfo los pibes de River avanzaron a la semifinal, donde este jueves se medirán contra Flamengo, rival de la final del año pasado.

El partido contra Toronto terminó 2-2 durante los 90 minutos y los goles de River fueron anotados por Santiago Guindani y Lucas Beltrán, quien lleva tres gritos en igual cantidad de partidos. Ya le habían ganado 1-0 en el debut al DC United (Beltrán) y 3-1 al Eintracht Frankfurt (Beltrán, Valdés y Paz).
