27/04/2023 I Deportes I ABEL VILLAGRA: "PASIÓN POR EL ARBITRAJE"

Abel Villagra tiene 40 años de edad y es árbitro de fútbol, hace 8 años que abrazó esta profesión. Además del arbitraje, Villagra es bombero voluntario y trabaja en el Hospital Municipal de Malagueño. En esta nota su historia.

El árbitro de fútbol malagueñense Abel Villagra tiene 40 años de edad y pertenece al CAFC (Colegio de Árbitros de Fútbol de Córdoba) hace 8 años. Además es bombero voluntario en Malagueño, hace 22 años, y trabaja en el Hospital Municipal Nuestra Señora de Nieva de nuestra ciudad.

Abel comenzó dirigiendo inferiores, luego pasó a dirigir Reserva y hace 4 años dirige Primera en las Ligas de Punilla, Oncativo, Bell Ville, San Francisco, Canals, Villa María y Colón.

Entre los partidos más importantes que el árbitro malagueñense dirigió se encuentran algunos clásicos, como Vélez Sarsfield vs Independiente de Oliva y Martin Ferreyra vs Deportivo San Nicolás; asimismo fue designado para arbitrar finales de la liga de Punilla, semifinales en liga Canals, Bell Ville ; entre otros. A la fecha ya tiene más de 70 partidos en Primera.

Abel nos decía:
"ser árbitro es una profesión y una pasión, tiene mucho de sacrificio, los días de partido salimos a las 9 de la mañana y volvemos a las 11 de la noche. En muchos casos soportamos insultos y a veces agresiones, a pesar de eso elegimos seguir siendo árbitros".
